About Me
I was born in Oakland, California and was raised here in the Bay Area. I have my B.A. in English and Russian Studies. I received my M.F.A. in Poetry Spring 2019 from Mills College.
Work
I joined the Gleeson Library staff in August of 2019 assisting the Acquisitions department in expanding our collection with new materials. I previously worked in the Periodicals department at Vassar College and was most recently a Library Assistant at the Academy of Art University working in the Circulation department and doing book repair.
Interests
My interests can be varied depending on the exact frame of inquiry. Creatively, I am passionate about writing poetry and am always thinking through the body in relation to space (whether that space be notions of “home” or “power” depends on the poem). Intellectually, I tend to dabble in a variety of fields including color theory or philosophy depending on my mood. I have a deep love for all games and am an avid watcher of anime. Currently, I am trying to get back into cooking, my long lost creative love.
