Alexander Street Videos
Alexander Street video and audio content can be integrated into Canvas or web pages in two ways: linking via permanent links (permalinks) or LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability). Both are provided for video and audio content, playlists, and clips in all Alexander Street collections. Navigate to the video you want to link to and click on the following Embed/Link icon:
Permanent Links or Permalinks
Copy the permalink in the text of the popup screen and paste it into your web page. Do not use the URL displayed in your Web browser's address bar. If you are copying a link into Canvas, insert it as plain text and not as a Web link, and be sure not to add any spaces to the inserted text.
LTI Launch URLs
Copy the URL labeled LTI launch URL for your selected video. Paste this into the Canvas page you want to link from. See the tips below on “Adding Links” for the LMS that you use.
