  • The Asian American Literary Review (AALR) Includes a special issue on mixed race (v.4 no.2 2013 entitled Mixed Race in a Box)
  • Critical Mixed Race Studies A biennial conference, a journal (Journal of Critical Mixed Race Studies), a field of study, and a scholarly/activist/artistic community.
  • Mixed Race Studies Non-commercial site created by Steven Riley with over 4,500 posts, including reviews of over 2,400 articles, 800 books, 500 dissertations/papers/reports, and 200 multimedia items.
  • Mixed Root Stories Promotes public awareness of the stories and storytellers that contribute to Arts, Culture, Education, Media, and Politics of the Mixed experience; Promotes and facilitates the production of arts and cultural programming.
  • Mixed Remixed Festival The nation’s premiere cultural arts festival celebrating stories of the Mixed experience, multiracial and multicultural families and individuals through films, books and performance.  
  • Hapa-palooza Festival Organized by the Hybrid Ancestry Public Arts Society, Hapa-palooza is a fusion of literary, film, music and dance performances that celebrate Vancouver's mixed-roots identity.
  • National Association of Mixed Student Organizations (NAMSO) Created to provide a central space for a national clearinghouse of resources, information, advice, events and networking for multi-racial/ethnic/cultural student organizations, student leaders and activists. 
  • Mixed Heritage Center A clearinghouse of information and resources relevant to the lives of people who are multiracial, multiethnic, transracially adopted, or otherwise impacted by the intersections of race and culture hasn't been updated since 2011].
  • The Mixed Experience A podcast hosted by Heidi Durrow about the multiracial, multicultural, biracial & Mixed issues & experience. See more information at the Mixed experience
  • Colorlines A daily news site where race matters, featuring award-winning investigative reporting and news analysis. Colorlines is published by Race Forward, a national organization that advances racial justice through research, media and practice.
  • Movies and documentaries/videos on mixed race/interracial marriage/dating/families at the Media Resources Center, Moffitt Library, UC Berkeley. Search the USF library catalog to see if we own the video/movie. If we don't, check Link+. You may also request a video through the library's Interlibrary Loan service, but keep in mind, it may take up to two weeks to arrive and there may be a charge to borrow. The Berkeley Media Center allows non-UC individuals access to the Center only under special circumstances.
