About Me

Born in San Francisco, I've lived up and down both coasts of the U.S. and went to high school at Taipei American School (Taiwan). I have an MS in Library and Information Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and studied Culture, Ecology, and Sustainable Community at New College of California.

Past Lives

I've worked in all kinds of libraries in Southern and Northern California, and in between have been a planning and environmental law analyst, a recycler, a paralegal, a bindery worker, and a photographer. .

Gleeson Library | Geschke Center

I started working at Gleeson in Periodicals in 1998. Currently, besides my liaison areas, I'm responsible for management of the library's a/v media collections (video, maps, etc.) as well as co-managing the Seed Library and overseeing government documents collections processing.

Professional Interests

Media access issues, international students and libraries, seed libraries, cataloging conundrums.
